Lots of Fun turning ONE!

Whew!  I feel like I just recovered from all the birthday celebrations-we had so much fun!

A BIG thank you to everyone who helped me and my parents celebrate.  Here are some pictures.

In other BIG news: I started walking!  The day after I turned 1 I started walking, not just a few steps and then plopping like I'd been doing for awhile.

Memorial Day Weekend

Busy weekend!

I went to Long Beach the other morning with my mommy and Zayde rode his bike to meet us there.  It was a beautiful morning down at the beach.

I had a fun play date with my good pal Hannah. She shared her toys and let me sit in her cool chair.

Mommy and Daddy took me out for dinner on Saturday night. Our dining neighbors complimented me on being cute AND well-behaved. 

I am over my aversion to grass and really enjoyed playing in the backyard in my new pool and with my slide.

A Hard Day at the Office

The sign of a good at day care is marked by how dirty your pants are.

By looking at my knees and (my bum) which are covered in dirt you can see that I had a fabulous day.

The humidity is great for my hair

My curls have been out of control, and they bounce a lot when I crawl around.

I had a fever and a sore throat earlier this week but I'm feeling better now. It was rough on all of us but Mommy and Daddy did a top notch job taking care of me.

I went my friend Hannah's birthday party and played in my first bouncy castle. I pretty much just rolled around in it but I liked it a lot.

A Hair Raising Experience

The other day at the playground I went down a plastic slide and look.what it did to my hair.

My mommy says this picture should be in science text books age static electricity is taught.

My first Passover

What a special holiday it was!  I got to spend a lot of time with both sides of the family, I tried matzah for the first time and I even found the afikomen the first night too (with some help)!

Here are some of the pictures from picture day at Stepping Stones.  You can see my buddies Lily and Gabriel, and of course the awesome Lauren!!

I am going to be 10 months old on Saturday and some of my new tricks include waving and clapping.  I particularly like to applaud myself after I successfully pick my Cheerios off the table and feed them to myself.  I am climbing stairs now and going down the BIG slide at the playground.  I have 6 teeth now but I haven't stopped drooling so maybe there are more on the way.

More curious by the day

As I become more curious and explore I sometimes get myself into trouble.  For instance, last week after emptying my toy bin, I tried to climb it.  Well, I got stuck and at first it was OK, but then I was not happy.

I rode in my first shopping cart last week on a very important mission.  As you can see, my job was to protect what we bought. 

Don't even THINK about touching my dad's beer!

And just the other day I really started climbing the steps at the playground.  So far I can climb 7 steps and I didn't fall this time!!  With spring just around the corner its only a matter of time before I hit the big slide!  

 

I can't wait to keep exploring!

I'm 9 months old today!

Quite a milestone: I've been on the  outside as long as I was inside!

And to mark being 9 months old I got my first official boo boo.  I had a little tumble at the playground when I was climbing up and down the steps by the slide and have a shiner to show for it. 

I had a rough day on Monday because my third tooth came in!  Lots of hugs, kisses and snuggles got me through the day - thanks Mom!!!

Playdates, lunch dates and general good times

It's been a terrific week! I'm in vermont right now and having fun w my best buddies.

The other day we went to Gemma's house for a lunch date with our mommies and Kristen. I couldn't stop hugging and kissing Aunt Wokie.

I have a new favorite book and stuffed bear from Donna and Bernie. You may have heard of this book, "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see?" I can actually sit thru the whole story!

I'm crawling more on my knees, standing and cruising a lot these days. It's like a whole new world!

Hi everyone,

Please forgive me for not posting lately. I have been uberbusy! Here's some of what's been going on.

#1 I can stand now! I started standing Superbowl Sunday in my crib. I was so excited the Giants won!!

#2 I went on a ski trip with Zeyde and Uncle Brad. We had so much fun!!

#3 There have been some sleepless nights due to bad colds and coughs going around our family. Not so fun :(

#4 I'm really mastering the solid foods, and Cheerios are one of my favs.

#5 We've been home 2 weekends in a row and have the chance to see lots of family-YAY!! Aunt Melissa, Nana Krysia and Grandpa Tommy came over and hung out w me while mommy and daddy had a date night, we all went to brunch in Brooklyn last weekend w 2 aunts (Lizzie & Alice) and 2 uncles (Daniel & Dougie) plus Grammy and Zeyde. The this weekend I got to go to Aunt Melissa's and Nana Krysia came too.

Ok, I promise it won't be a long time before I post again.
