Happenings in December

We've been having a lot of fun in December.  Even though it is winter we still go for lots walks and outings to the playground. Thanks to Aunt L and Uncle Daniel I have new booties to keep my tooties warm, and the red puffy jacket from Grammy is the greatest.
I've been to Rockville Centre a whole bunch and on the last visit we went to Julie's house and Jen and Kristen came over with Luke and Lila.
Mommy took me downtown to visit Daddy at work. His company had a holiday for the kids.
I'm really good w gadgets and already know how to use a Blackberry.

Happy 6 Month Birthday!

I'm hanging with my Grammy and Zayde for a few days while Mommy and Daddy are in Colorado for a ski trip.

Some new things I'm doing:
1) eating solids
2) holding my own bottle

3) I'm really close to crawling
4) I'm still struggling a little bit w sleeping through the night all the time but I'm getting there....promise!!

My first Halloween

Big things going down in Riverdale lately!  Last week I got to dress up in 2, that's right 2(!) costumes for Halloween.   I was an adorable pumpkin just as home

And then I was R2D2 with my friends Gabe and Lily from Stepping Stones (day care).  

People really liked my costume and we got a lot of compliments.

Now that I'm 5 months old I'm able to do lots of new things.  My mommy even says I'm doing new things every single day.  You can see in another post that I am now rocking my jumperoo which is oodles of fun.  And when I'm on my play mat I roll around A LOT.  So much so that mommy and daddy  (and Lou Lou) keep talking about baby proofing the apartment.  I also take my pacifier in and out of my mouth now.

Loving the playground

Hi,

Ever since I was about 3 months old my mommy started taking me to the playground.  There are a lot of other babies that go there too so I've made some buddies and my mommy has other mommies to talk to.  At the playground I like to lay down on the blanket with the other babies and I like to sit on my mommy's lap while she gently swings.  BUT yesterday I went on the swing all by myself!!!  I needed a little help from my dog Clifford (Clifford the Big Red Dog stuffed animal) and I had so much fun!  My Uncle Daniel and Aunt Lizzie were there too for my first ride on the swing which made it extra special.

Sorry its been a long time since my last post but we have been very busy!

I'll start from the most recent and work my way backwards.

I turned 4 months old last week!  I am getting bigger (and cuter) by the day!

I had so much fun spending 2 whole nights all by myself at LouLou and Zeyde's house when my mommy and daddy went to a wedding.  They said I was a perfect baby, and I could not agree with them more!

Now that I'm 4 months old I almost always sleep through the night and I'm sitting in my fun Bumbo seat.

Last week I started going to day care 3 full days a week and I really like it a lot.  Here is a picture from my first full day.

And last week we did the funnest thing - we went apple picking!

And the fun continues...

What another great couple of weeks!  Where to start?!

I had my first sleepover at Grandpa and Nana's.

And my Nanny Lou watched me for an entire day while my mommy and daddy were at work.

And I had a play date with my buddy Elliott.  He's only 16 days younger than me and we are just starting to interact a little bit.  I can't wait till we get older and play more.

I stopped by Zeyde's office so we could measure just how big I've gotten in my 14 weeks and I now weigh 15 lbs 4 oz and am 26 inches.  The girls at the office told me I'm 2 foot 2 and eyes of blue : )

End of Summer Fun

Today I'm 3 months old and we just finished celebrating the end of summer, where does the time go?!?!

To start the weekend we visit Baba Regina in Brooklyn.  She sings me funny Polish songs that make me smile and giggle : )  I also got to spend time with Uncle Barry (go Yankees!) and Aunt Reesa.

From Brooklyn it was on the Rockville Centre for a visit with Grammy Lou and Zeyde.  Grammy took me for a walk in the neighborhood and we used my stroller from Aunt Martha (aka Martha Stewart) for the first time.

To finish out the long weekend we visited Aunt Melissa in White Plains so she could introduce me to her friends.  I had my special outfit all ready (my t shirt says "Off to Auntie's) and we had a great visit to see her newly renovated kitchen (beautiful!), Porter House and then Trader Joe's.

Today is a very special day for our family because my daddy is at his first day at this place people call "work" (I wonder what that means) and I'm home with my mommy.  We are going to our first music class later and will have nice day keeping dry, snuggling and playing.  When we play now I giggle a little bit, smile A LOT and am starting to recognize my hands a little bit.  I also drool quite a bit so now I wear bibs.

My first visit to Caramel Hill

Wow, what a great weekend!  I had so much fun w Grammy Lou, Zeyde, Uncle Daniel & Aunt Lizzie.  They are so much fun to play with and they love holding me and talking to me.  There must be something really special in the air up there because I slept like a baby (heehee) and was out cold for 12 hours each night!  When I woke up each morning I had extra cuddly snuggle time with Uncle Daniel and Zeyde. We drove over to Great Great Uncle Nat and Great Great Aunt Marilyn's in Massachusetts for lunch on Saturday.  I think its so special that I have such a big and loving family : )

New England Vacation

Hi,

This past week held a lot of firsts - first road trip, first wedding, first trip to the beach, first boat ride.  WOW-did I have a lot of fun on my first family vacation!!

We started the trip by going to Jamestown, Rhode Island and spent a couple days there with our friends Chad, Jenn and Finn (my first doggie friend).  I went to the beach for the first time, relaxed on the deck and went out to dinner with my mommy, daddy and our friends.  I was SO well behaved (really!)

From Rhode Island we drove to Burlington, Vermont for a very special occasion  - Rebecca and Chris's wedding!  The weekend in Burlington was filled with a lot of activities and everyone complimented me on how well behaved I was (that's because I slept most of the time) but I had a lot of fun when I was awake : )

One person who was very excited to meet me was Aunt Donna (Pfieffer, mother of the bride).  She even made me a special welcome gift and my mommy read "Clifford the Big Red Dog" to me while we were there.  I really LOVE story time.

After this trip, at only 8 weeks I've already been to 7 states (NY, NJ, CT, MA, VT, NH, RI).  I'm a really good traveller and can't wait to go on more adventures!

Week 7

I may be little but my parents really take me to a lot of places and we do a lot of fun stuff!

Besides the day in Westchester when I visited Grandpa, I've really started to love spending time on my play mat but it makes me tired so I usually nap shortly after play time.

We went to a sunset picnic at Wave Hill with a bunch of our friends (Jenn, Chad, Amy, Vlad, Elliott, Jaime, JMKS & Sanchez).  This was already my second trip to Wave Hill!

We are going on a New England vacation next week and I know my mommy & daddy will take lots and lots of pictures which they will post when we get back.

I like visiting him there : )
